Why I Don't Like Mitt Romney

As we all know, Massachusetts was the first U.S. state to pass a Universal Health Care bill. The current 2012 GOP nominee front runner (Mitt Romney) signed/supported the bill. As a Conservative I wouldn't support him for anything. I don't think most Americans know that he passed the bill or even if the bill exist. We can't put another socialist back in office. We have to put a full blooded Conservative in office.

Inform people on your blog about Mitt Romney's Universal Health care views.

Mitt would really need to explain himself on this issue very well if he were to earn my vote in a Republican primary. If he is in favor of universal health care run by the Federal Government, I don't want him running the Federal Government.

But I'd be inclined to give Romney a chance to change his mind on the issue. Perhaps he could say that he's learned the error of his ways and that he now sees that government-administered universal health care is a bad idea.

Or at least he could say that what's good for Massachusetts is not good for New York or Kansas or Georgia and that the states can experiment with health care as they see fit, with as little interference as possible from the Federal Government.

...As an aside, I do see one role for the Federal Government in health care: they need to force states to allow their citizens to purchase health insurance across state lines to allow for greater competition.

I think a conservative health care blog would be a great idea...

This is also a reason I do not like Mitt. He seems like a car salesman to me also. He will say and do anything to get elected President.
